The Health Minister’s Discretionary Grants
The HMDG offers maximum assistance of up to Rs. 50,000 in cases where free medical facilities are not available at government hospitals. Families who have an annual income up to Rs. 1,25,000 are eligible for assistance under this scheme of up to 70% of the total bill.
