Dr. Jamal A. Khan, a pioneer in dendritic cell-based cancer immunotherapy, founded Denvax after serving as a professor of immunology at Aligarh Muslim University. He began his research in 1997 and launched the clinical application of the therapy in 2004. Dr Jamal A. Khan, MBBS, MD (Medical Microbiology), was a professor of immunology in Aligarh Muslim university, when he developed a strong interest in the power of the immune system and how it can be harnessed. He made his foray into preclinical work in 1997,and he eventually moved into his field of study using animal models.
In 2004, he moved to Delhi, set up a lab and initiated his clinical work, with required permissions. For 19 years, he has been doing exclusive dendritic cell-based cancer immunotherapy, helping countless patients in India and abroad.

Dr. Sharmin Yaqin, MBBS, MD (Clinical Biochemistry), was pursuing her post- graduate when she developed interest in protein extraction, and their role in cancer behaviour. She pursued her interest in tumour immunology and collaborated with Dr. Khan to bring the treatment from bench- to bedside.
She has been instrumental in setting up offices in- and out of India. She has also been the key factor in maximising outreach and creating awareness among patients.
Dr. Sharmin, trained additionally in Preventive Oncology, likes to give talks and seminars on cancer prevention. She lives between Delhi, Dubai and London.

She has played an integral role in establishing offices, both within India as well as internationally. She has also been at the forefront, as far as maximizing outreach and creating awareness amongst patients is concerned.
Trained extensively in Preventive Oncology, Dr. Yaqin devotes a major share of her time to deliver talks and seminars on the prevention of cancer. She lives between Delhi, Dubai and London.
He trained at Safdarjung Hospital and further specialized in palliative care at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and AIIMS., Dr. Raman Yadav brings extensive experience in cancer symptom management. Mentored by Dr. Khan and Dr. Yaqin, he focuses on improving the quality of life for cancer patients through safe, integrative immunotherapy solutions.
A Pain and Palliative Care Physician, he graduated from Pt. BDS PGIMS, Rohtak Haryana and then did his post-graduation in Rehabilitation Medicine from Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
Thereafter he got trained in the field of Pain & palliative Care from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi or AIIMS, New Delhi. He has experience of working in reputed institutes of our country like Safdarjang Hospital New Delhi etc.
A kind, compassionate yet ambitious doctor, he is always looking for a new challenge, which led him to Dr Jamal A Khan and Dr Sharmin Yaqin, who are pioneers of dendritic cell therapy for cancer treatment in India, Asia and the world.
In his own words: During my working days in palliative care settings of various hospitals, I have seen cancer patients suffering from the disease itself or side effects of various anti-cancer treatments. Most patients were unable to take treatment due to various reasons. Dendritic Cell therapy is very simple & highly effective cancer treatment which can be given to patients who are amenable to conventional treatment approaches like surgery, chemotherapy or radiation. As it has negligible side effects, it is useful to terminally ill patients. It helps in maintaining the quality of life of such patients. I am dedicated to learning and applying this treatment approach so that maximum benefit could be given to each cancer patient.
Dr. Rakesh Reddy Jillela holds a specialization in Radiation Oncology and has trained under experts at HCG Cancer Hospital, Bangalore. An award-winning academic, he has presented notable research on 3DCRT vs IMRT in various cancers. He is skilled in advanced radiation techniques and treatment planning for diverse cancer cases.
An MBBS from SVS Medical College, Mahbubnagar, followed by a specialization in Radiation Oncology from the AJ Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Dr. Rakesh Reddy Jillela has been a junior resident under Dr. Shekhar Patil in HCG Cancer Hospital Bangalore. He has also presented various papers and posters at national conferences, including the following three papers:
Equipped with a sound knowledge of medical terminology, he also has significant expertise in anti-cancer treatments and radiation cancer therapies. Besides, he is adept at handling OPD and treatment procedures such as intra cavitary, intraluminal ,surface mould brachytherapy IMRT and 3DCRT and electron beam therapy.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with an MDS and 3+ years of experience in trauma surgery, implantology, TMJ disorders, oral oncology, and reconstructive procedures. Trained at Dayananda Sagar College, with additional experience at Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center and KIDWAI, Bangalore. She collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care.
